If you have a shock when you touch the screen, suddenly a problem on your workstation. Consider placing a plastic mat under the seat to reduce static build-up. I have noticed that the paper towels work as screen cleaners. Avoid spraying liquid at your monitor of computer. Moisten the cloth and wipe the screen on once a week.

Keyboard Cleaning:

A Regular cleaning keeps your keyboard looking new. Use a soft cloth, such as a cotton diaper moistened with a mild soap solution to wipe out the keys or use the brush. While you perform the cloth on the plastic casing around the monitor and CPU. Sure to lift the keyboard and substance under the surface of the computer.  Turn the keyboard upside down to shake out crumbs or use a damp q-tip to remove them.
Avoid allowing water to spry between keys. Keyboards do not like to get soaked. Accidents can happen and I can personally guarantee that if you spill a glass of water on your keyboard, all is not lost. Set the keyboard upside down on a towel. Let it dry overnight and it must be good. If the keyboard does not respond well after an incident off time, call a professional.

Motorola Droid Razr Review | Motorola Droid Razr Features

Motorola introduced its new model mobile phone.   Shortly after launching as an expensive status symbol, Motorola fixed  the price and turned the V3 into one of the best selling handsets for ever. In the years that followed there were countless revisions, colors and would-be successors that ultimately turned the once-hyped product line into a euphemism for obsolete technology introduced motorola.

The Motorola DROID RAZR features top-of-the-line specs, and it somehow stuffs it all into one of the thinnest and lightest smartphone on the earth. At only 7.1 millimeters thin, this isn’t only the thinnest 4G LTE device in the earth, it’s one of the thinnest smartphones period. With a 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video capture, an LED flash, an HDMI-out port, noise cancellation capabilities, 16GB of built-in storage and a 16GB microSD card pre-installed, this phone is isn’t just competing with other Android devices, it’s crushing them.
As far as the design of the handset, the DROID RAZR looks like the perfect evolution of the DROID family with a beautiful display sandwiched in between tough Gorilla Glass and a metal chassis with Kevlar backing. The edges of the RAZR are angular yet still soft, and the phone blends high gloss finishes with a matte case-back perfectly.
On top of the phone is an HDMI-out port, a microUSB charging and data port, and a 3.5-millimeter headset jack. On the right side is a power on/off/unlock button next to a volume up/down rocker key. On the left side of the phone is a small cover that flips down to give you access to the phone’s LTE microSIM card and microSD card. Around back is the 8-megapixel camera, an LED flash and a good quality speaker.

3D CHIPS, The Next Electronic Generation | 3D CHIPS

The next Electronic Generation starts with the 3D chips.  3D means Three Dimensional Integrated Circuits.  This kind of chips are in which two are more layers of active electronic elctronic components.

To accomplish anything in the device, you need to get in your car or bike and drive to another address. Downtown, in a skyscraper, you just use an elevator.

Elevators are more efficient -- and the semiconductor industry has taken notice (metaphorically speaking) with a trend toward 3D chip design. Instead of putting dies in separate packages, soldered to a circuit board and sending data through their I/O ports to other chips (i.e., driving through the suburbs), dies are stacked and data is moved from one layer to the next (i.e., via the elevator).

Chip industry insiders, such as Brian Cronquist, vice president at Monolithic 3D Inc., a 3D chip technology startup in San Jose, say that a 3D design using two stacked dies with 22-nanometer geometry would produce much the same result -- including reduced wire length, gate size and consumption of power for devide -- as moving to one die with 15nm.The chip was manufactured with two dies using face-to-face stacking, which allowed a dense via structure.  This a next electronic generation.

Fiber Optic Technology | Fiber Optic Technology Overview | Features Of Fiber Optic Technology Features

Now Everywhere on this Earth hair-thin optical fibers carry vast huge quantities of information from one place to another place. There are so many desirable properties of optical fibers for carrying the information. They have enormous information-carrying capacity, are low cost, and possess immunity from the many disturbances that can afflict electrical wires, wireless communication links. The superiority of optical fibers for carrying information from place to place is leading to their rapidly replacing older technologies. Optical fibers have played a key role in making possible the extraordinary growth in world-wide communications that has occurred in the last 25 years, and are vital in enabling the proliferating use of the Internet.

Light is channeled through these fibers. Not only light but everything associated with light, images for example, also get transmitted from one end of the fiber optic to the other end. Bends and turns in the fibers pose no hindrance in this transmission.
The core of fiber optic materials is made of glass or plastic and it is highly transparent. This core is covered with a covering known as ‘cladding’. When light enters from one end and travels through the length of the fiber optic, this ‘cladding’ does not allow it to scatter outside the material.

The ‘cladding’ reflects all the light from inside the surface of the fiber optic. So, even if a bundle inside the fiber optic is not straight, the image is not affected. Fiber optics are capable of carrying light and other information over a wide range of distance. The distance may vary from a few centimeters to many hundred kilometers.
Fiber optics are primarily of two types. The single-mode fiber optic and the Multi-mode fiber optics.

Single Mode Fiber Optic

It is suitable  for transmissions over long distance  that happen at tremendous speed. They are capable of this because their core is very small and they have the property of accepting light only in the direction of the axis of the fibers. Small lasers are used to send light into fibers. The fibers are joined with low-loss connectors so that there is very less distortion of the light signal.

Multi Mode Fiber Optic

In multi-mode fiber optic materials the cores are big and they also can accept light from a variety of angles and can also function with a variety of light sources. The connectors are used within the materials for fiber are not very expensive. It is done because these fiber optic materials are not meant for long distance transmission only short distance transmission.

ISRO UNVEILS SUPERCOMPUTER | WORLD'S SUPERCOMPUTER | INDIA'S FAST COMPUTER

World's Fastest Computer. ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) has built a supercomputer (SAGA-2020), which will be India's fastest in terms of theoretical peak performance of 220 Teraflops ( 200 Trillion Floating Point Operations per second ).  Named Satish Dhawan Super-computing Facility, it is located at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) in Thiruvananthapuram.  The new graphic processing unit ( GPU ) based supercomputer, which has been named SAGA-2020 ( Super-computer for Aerospace with GPU Architecture-220 Teraflops), would be used for solving complex aerospace problems.
The supercomputer was fully designed and built by the VSSC, using commercially available hardware and open source software components.  Its total cost was about Rs. 14 crores. The system is environmentally green and consumes a power of only 150kw.

Mozilla Building Android Based Mobile OS | Mozilla introduce android mobile OS | Mozilla's Android mobile OS

Today, The Mozilla Firefox plans to build an operating system very much like Google’s own Chrome OS where apps runs like a browser but for many mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.  The company is known as firefox browsers.  If the name Mozilla rings any bells it's because they're the tech boffins who put together Internet Explorer, the browser that Windows defaults to. Mozilla took the leviathan computing company on with its Firefox browser, and today it is the second most popular browser worldwide.

Now the company who was underdog to Microsoft looks to be playing the same role, but this time against internet head Google.  Announced on the Mozilla discussion forum, Mozilla have begun coding for smart phones and tablets. The BBC revealed the mobile operating system will draw on Android code, with Mozilla writing as much fresh code as possible. The hybrid-like operating system will be named Boot To Gecko.

It is an unusual name for an OS, until you remember the name  Gecko it is  rendering engine employed by the Firefox browser that interprets web page coding and displays it in a screen-friendly format, a homage to its origins.  Even though Android coding will form the operating system's foundations, Mozilla hope to add a much more open wrapper around it than Google currently do, making it more versatile as an operating system.  Its shared foundations will also make Boot To Gecko compatible with the same phones as Android, competing as a direct alternative to Google.

Often, when you select a link from an application native to the Android or iOS market, the operating system will have to open a new webpage in the browser. Boot To Gecko aims to limit this by making applications much more web-centric.  If the venture proves successful, Mozilla will be waging war against industry giants, with Google, Apple and Microsoft dominating many facets of the technological world.

Mozilla have acknowledged this  project is in infancy and have chosen to make the development public in hope it will attract talented enthusiast coders who will contribute to the Boot To Gecko's cause.  According to their project team, all of the mobile code development will be completed and shared with the public as soon as it is written.  Researcher Andreas Gal, who announced the development, admits the company has set a high target, but wants to do it "the way we think open source should be done.
